What To Expect Nutritionally In Grand Rapids

Chiropractic Grand Rapids MI What To Expect Nutritionally

The first visit at our chiropractic clinic in Grand Rapids is meant to gather as much information about your health history as we can in order to figure out the best way to serve you. Please allow at least 45 minutes for your first visit with us.

Initial Visit In Grand Rapids

Your initial visit begins with you filling out our new patient paperwork. Please have all paperwork filled out before arriving at your scheduled appointment time. (Note: If you are unable to fill out paperwork beforehand, please arrive 20 minutes early to allow yourself time to fully fill out the forms. If you arrive to your appointment with unfinished paperwork, you will be rescheduled.) This paperwork is filled with necessary information about you, your health history and your current condition.

Next you will join our patient educator to go over some of the key information you filled out in the forms. In order to get a full clinical picture, she will ask you different questions regarding your health history, how your current condition is affecting your daily life, dietary habits and any personal health goals you may have for yourself. Following the consultation, the analysis will begin.

The doctor will begin the analysis by making contact with a specific reflex area with one hand and touching your extended arm with the other hand. If the reflex being tested is under stress, the body will reduce power to the extended arm and it will go weak and drop. A weakness in the arm indicates stress to that specific organ, gland, joint or muscle being tested. The doctor will then address those weaknesses with nutritional supplements.

After your initial nutritional evaluation, your restorative nutritional care will begin. These are 10 – 15 minute appointments where your program will be checked and you can ask your chiropractor questions about your care.

Homeopathic Techniques & Process

Through our analysis, we are testing the body’s neurological reflexes. These reflexes are the body’s way of telling us what and how your nervous system is doing as it is the nervous system’s responsibility to regulate the body’s functions for each and every organ. The testing includes organs, glands, joints, muscles, etc. These reflexes are tested on the surface of the body, and then the findings are analyzed.

Muscle Testing

Muscle testing involves the application of light pressure to a muscle, usually one in the arm, while in the presence of stressors to the body; i.e. foods, chemical, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, scars and emotional stress. When the arm goes weak, it is read as the body rejecting or saying “no” to what its been presented with. When the arm remains strong, it is read as the body accepting or saying “yes”.

M-Field Technique

The Morphogenic Field is a term used to describe the field of energy around the body. It is an extension of the electrical field of the nervous system within us. In this form of testing, we rely on the information from the energy field of the individual cell to guide us in giving it the exact nutrition it needs in order to function properly. When the exact nutritional needs of the cells are met, proper cellular communication can take place and that is when the greatest amount of change is seen in the patients overall health. Healthy cells are needed to make healthy tissues. Healthy tissues are needed to make healthy organs. Health organs are needed to make a healthy organism.

Bioenergetics

This form of testing is also focused at the cellular level of healing by seeing the body as a flow system of energy. Our bodies come in daily contact with chemicals, heavy metals, toxins, viruses and other stresses that disrupt the flow of energy within the body. When this happens, your body presents with symptoms. By using homeopathic treatments and nutritional supplements, we are able reduce stress to the body and restore flow back into the bodies natural energy field.
